Leticia Marie Santiago Jones

Master Level Counselor

Leticia Santiago Jones is an ordained pastor, licensed minister, and professional counselor under supervision. She is a licensed educator (K-8), entrepreneur, life coach, human resource professional, writer, and national conference presenter. Leticia holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, from Mount Saint Mary College, a Master of Professional Counseling from Argosy University, and a Human Resource Management Certification from the University of Georgia (UGA).

As an Afro-Latina she is keenly aware of the importance of leveraging these accomplishments to advocate for BIPOC and other marginalized communities. Using her voice and influence to ensure they are seen, heard, and validated in the educational and mental health arena. It is critical for Leticia to empower, educate, and encourage.

Leticia launched her teaching career and served hundreds of children and their families. Her tenure in education included serving as a teacher, school counselor, developing parent education training (Parent University), staff development, and district level initiatives all focused on how the community can better serve students. In 2012-2013, she became Teacher of the Year. This opened the opportunity for Leticia to become a decision maker advocating for teacher compensation, building equity for teacher interns, and recruitment practices for attracting top teacher talent.

Leticia believes in doing therapy with people, not at people. Her therapy style is very intentional and focused on collaboration with the client. Prior to joining the Peabody Practice, Leticia served at ProActive Management, Bethany Christian Services, and GaHOPE. These experiences have equipped Leticia to support clients in individual, family, group, and couples counseling settings. Whether needing to address depression, anxiety, trauma, or seeking clarity on your next career move (career counseling), Leticia strives to create a non-judgemental space.
